A founder-led partner, built to earn trust project by project
EGT is a young company. This page describes it as it actually stands today — and the ambition it is deliberately structured to grow into.
Who EGT is
EGT Engineering & Trading was founded by Mehdi Eghtedari to answer a question that recurs across infrastructure and industrial projects in Europe, the Middle East, and adjacent trading corridors: who can be trusted to move a technical requirement from specification to site, without losing accuracy, compliance, or accountability along the way.
EGT is a young, founder-led company, built from its first day around that single question rather than an inherited client book — its credibility is designed to be earned project by project. Operating from Darmstadt, inside Germany's Rhine-Main engineering and applied-science corridor, places EGT within the same standards culture — DIN, VDE, TÜV — that industrial buyers across its target markets already trust by default.
The company's operating model sits deliberately between two roles usually kept separate: trading houses that move goods without engineering accountability, and engineering consultancies that specify without carrying delivery risk. EGT is structured to grow into both at once — to specify with engineering judgment and deliver with trading discipline.
What EGT exists to do
Mission
EGT Engineering & Trading exists to engineer, source, and deliver industrial, infrastructure, and energy solutions between Europe and the Middle East with the accountability of a single, integrated partner — replacing fragmented handoffs between designers, suppliers, freight forwarders, and local agents with one relationship, one standard, and one point of responsibility.
Vision
To be the most trusted engineering and trading partner connecting Europe and the Middle East — the name industrial buyers and infrastructure authorities call first when a project must cross a border without losing precision.
Brand Promise
“Specified once. Delivered without compromise, wherever the project is.”
Operationally specific, not a poster
Each value is paired with the behavior it should produce in a real business decision.
Precision
Every specification, quotation, and drawing is correct to the standard cited, with no rounding of tolerances or ambiguity in scope.
Reliability
Committed dates and committed scopes are treated as fixed unless formally re-negotiated with the client.
Integrity
Technical and commercial representations to clients, authorities, and partners are accurate — including when the accurate answer is unfavorable.
Global Reach
Capability is not confined to one country's supply base, standards regime, or language.
Partnership
Clients, suppliers, and subcontractors are treated as long-term counterparts, not transactions.
Innovation
Engineering methods, sourcing routes, and digital tools are continuously re-evaluated against better alternatives, not defended out of habit.
Structured around one corridor, not an unfocused claim to reach
German-anchored standards
Based in Darmstadt, inside the same DIN, VDE, and TÜV standards culture industrial buyers across Europe and the Gulf already trust by default.
Four working languages
English, German, Persian, and Arabic — each prepared as a complete, professional document in its own right, never a machine-translated overlay.
One cross-border corridor
Structured specifically around the Europe–Middle East trade corridor, rather than an unfocused claim to global reach.
A stated roadmap, not an inflated present
EGT describes its current stage accurately and its ambition explicitly as ambition. The identity and standard stay fixed at every stage — only governance capacity grows.
Founder-operated
Mehdi Eghtedari performs every role personally — the honest starting point, not a gap to grow out of quietly.
First specialist contractors
Translators, engineers, and design contractors engaged for specific scopes as project volume justifies it.
First long-term hire
A dedicated function — document control or brand custodianship — separates from the founder role first.
Functional specialization
Distinct people handle engineering, procurement, and commercial work as a small team takes shape.
Owner & Founder
Mehdi Eghtedari
Owner & Founder
Mehdi Eghtedari founded EGT to close the gap between engineering specification and cross-border delivery — personally accountable, today, for every scope EGT takes on. As EGT brings on specialist contractors and, in time, employees, this page will grow to reflect the team actually doing the work, not before.
